The Chiodo family came to Canada from Calabria Italy in the early 1960’s and began building their lives in Toronto. By the early 1970’s, many members of the family quickly began their careers as carpenters and built a strong reputation for framing houses for some of Toronto’s largest home builders such as Greenpark.
In the mid-1990’s John Chiodo, at age 14, began his construction career. John acquired his knowledge and skills in carpentry from both his father other family members, who by this point had many years of experience behind them in the skilled trade.
During his high school years John would spend all his summers and weekends working hard framing / back-framing houses, continuing to develop his skills and learned the business from the ground up. Carpentry quickly developed into a career passion. At age 18, John decided to follow his heart and pursue a career as a professional contractor. By the age of 21, John decided it was time to use his talents and knowledge and started his own contracting company.
As of present day, John and his company have renovated hundreds of homes in the GTA, providing quality work, just as his family had done many years before. He is extremely versed in various contracting projects from renovations to complete custom home builds. John offers his customers peace of mind that their project will be done right and has developed a strong name in the business for honesty, quality, and service.
John has been married for 14 years and has two kids and has recently completed one of his life-long dreams of building his own custom home for his family. He continues to follow is passion and work hard and provide his clients great work to be proud of.
